Is it normal my alarm is a recording of my voice telling me to wake up?

It is about 40 seconds long and starts slow I tell myself to wake up and not be a lazy ass and say things like 'dont u dare hit that snooze button' I have been using it for almost a year now. is it normal or would you think Im crazy?
