Is it normal my boots give me a rash

I wear boots for work. However they been giving me a rash wear the top of boot sqeezes my leg. Is this common? How do I fix this.

    Make sure that your boots are the correct size. It can also be due to chafing if your feet sweats a lot in constricted boots (it's normal). Try wearing moisture wicking socks (a clean and dry pair every day) and use foot powder/baby powder to help absorb sweat. If you have to wear the same boots every day, it can also be a breeding ground for bacteria and stuff which makes it even more important to wear proper socks. If at all possible, try to not wear the same shoes two days in a row to give it time to dry out. If not, put your shoes in the sun over weekends to let it dry

    I have no idea if this works but I would put my foot in a plastic bag. Also it could have to do with ur pants or socks or whatever is touching ur leg

    Probably a skin allergy to the fabric of the boots. Also, use a more suitable size.
