Is it normal my cat changed so drastically?

I had an extremely hyper cat. He constantly needed new toys and there was never enough playtime.
He magic changed. One day he's knocking stuff down and the next hes sleeping all day every day. All he wants now is cuddles. He's very demanding with His cuddles.
It just happened so suddenly, it's like someone replaced my cat. It's crazy

    Did you have him neutered? Or did he just suddenly grow out of the crazy kitten stage?

    Other than that, all I can say is that cats are unpredictable creatures and trying to work out how their minds work is often a fruitless task

    Anytime a cat has a drastic change in behavior they should be looked at by a vet. Id say there's a strong possibility it's not feeling well if their behavior changes like that overnight. If it was over a few months or a year, I'd say it was from aging but overnight, no
