Is it normal my cat likes to lick gum wrappers

Basically, my cat seems to have a thing for sugar and mint.

Whenever I eat a piece of gum, she likes to lick the wrapping paper, and once she even tried to bite the gum itself... She also recently seems to like licking lifesavers.

Is this normal? Or is my cat just weird?

    My kitty likes to chew plastic grocery bags. I have to be careful when I get back from the store. He is chewing them as I unload the bags. I shoo him away.

    Just don't let the kitty eat any... My cat likes licking photos... And another goes crazy for cough drops (as a toy when they're in the wrapper of course)

    I think it's normal. I never tried with any of my cats though. One of my cats goes crazy when he smells a bag of doritos, he even eats them.
