Is it normal my cat started pissing everywhere besides the litter box?

I have had my cat for four years. He has never done this kind of thing before and generally is very well behaved. Aside from the fact he hates everyone except me and hides from strangers I have no trouble. He follows me around and is very playful. He acts like a dog a lot of the time. It also seems like he seems terrified of his litterbox now. He has been acting really odd lately. What does this sound like? Also yes he was fixed before age 1.

    Try changing the litter.
    Did you switch brands recently?
Have you gotten any new animals?
    Have you moved his box?
Has he gotten into anything he shouldn't have?

I would take him to the vet to be safe, and make sure he's not sick.

This problem just happened to my cat, exactly like how you are describing. He recently had very severe bladder stones (which is super rare) and the trouble he went through with that caused him to also get a UTI. You should go to your vet for some antibiotics

Don't get scented litter. They're are plenty of reasons why to get unscented litter (I used to work in a boarding and grooming facility) but I won't type too much for ya.. So If that doesn't work- go to the vet because it might have a medical condition that is not being treated.

My cat did it once he became unfrigginbelievably old.. 20. And he started around 17. Things never really changed for him. He'd get pissed and hate you if you changed something. No idea. Probably some health reason. But I'm an engineer, so what do I know about cats?

My cat did that because we changed litter brands. I guess she was trained and accustomed to the old brand. Problem was solved after we switched back.

Obviously you're straight if you don't know this is normal.

Your breast size is mainly dependent on nutrition and genetics and if you're getting the proper both, then they're growing correctly. Nothing wrong with small breasts. Your back will be fine.

        • It is ok I understand. I have done that before too. I kind of thought so. You seem serious when you wrote it. No harm done though may I ask if you have any advice for my question?

It can be a lot of things.
If you've been spending more time out of the house than usual.
If you've changed the litter for the litter box (like, you switched brands).
If you haven't cleaned the litter box lately.

If nothing has changed then you should take the cat to the vet because it could be a health problem but I haven't had a cat in years and I have never experienced this issue.

Yes that is the general consensus on this website but probably for the wrong reasons.

    • You know dogs do not go in a box. So I would be faced with the same issue.

  • If you have multiple cats he might not like to share. Also, like everyone else said, if your not cleaning it then that's why. If you are then I don't know.
