Is it normal my favorite hobby is to watch cars on a motorway for hours.

I am in my teens, and don't have a driving license, however I know a lot about cars and I like cars. One of my favorite things to do is to watch dash-cam videos of cars cruising up the motorway uneventfully for hours and hours, and I never get bored. When I go places, I love the journey more than anything else about the trip. I seem to particularly like specific routes, and get very defensive if people insist on other motorways/routes. Just to say this is by no means a sexual attraction, just something I really like doing, like how some people enjoy playing computer games or sports. Is there something wrong with this or is it just an unusual but harmless hobby?

    Perfectly normal. Wish I had the patience for that. You could turn it into a sort of mind game and try to identify cars. Now obviously, like anything else, do not let it consume you and your time.

    Another fun hobby is people watching. Watch people and try to figure out stuff about their lives.

    My mom really likes sitting and watching airplanes take off and land. She could do that for hours. So I guess it's pretty normal as far as hobbies go.

    It's normal, IMO. People like to train watch, car watch, people watch, etc.

    I love just watching people go about their lives- it's interesting to see what others do.

    My favorite thing to do on vacation is find a place with slots so I can just sit there and listen to the sounds- there's something soothing about slot machine sounds. :)

      Then you'd love Vegas. I honestly can't stand those slot machine sounds. The sound of ocean waves crashing or a rainstorm, now those are sounds I can get into and relax.

        Hehe I do love vegas, actually! I lived 2 hours away when I was a kid. Being poor was hard to do fun things- but, my grandma being a senior citizen and doing basic gambling earned her a lot of free nights and free dinner comps so we went there a lot.

        I really love the sound of the ocean and rainstorms, too!

        Thunderstorms in Arizona are so beautiful! I love the sound of thunder and rain! <3
