Is it normal my fiancé can daydream for hours at a time
My fiancé can spend hours just staring at nothing and doing nothing. Sometimes he just sits on the edge of the bed and looks at the floor, or stands and looks out the window, or lays in the hammock. But he can be still, just staring, for up to six hours.
He's very intelligent and busy-minded, but sometimes I'm afraid he's depressed or overworked. He's a studying pharmaceutical engineer for mental illness so I can understand a lot of thought goes into it, but I still worry.
If I ever ask how he's doing during these "episodes" he just tells me he is thinking. He doesn't seem sad going in or coming out of his trances, maybe it's just like meditating but without the sitting cross legged and humming the whole time.
I don't know, should I be worried? I've expressed how I feel to him, but he tells me I'm just a nervous guy. Posted this before.
