Is it normal my friend and i are beginning to take our inside jokes too far?

my friend and I have been playing jokes on each other since the 6th grade, often pushing the bar further each time. We used to joke about immature things like private parts and poo, but now things are on a whole nother level. We now joke about being a gay couple, since we have been good friends for so long (we are both straight) which is already pretty funny, and now pretend to wispier naughty things into each others ears when we go to the mall. Then recently when he came over to visit, and i left the door unlocked so he could take a seat while I got ready. I was in the shower and he pretended to sneak in and try to take a peak. I got freaked out ran out, commando and he chased after me trying to smack my ass with a belt and pretended to try to take a grasp of my balls, it was HILARIOUS!! But after this i'm beginning to wonder if these jokes are going a bit to far, its just so funny i don't realize when something like this may or may not be normal.

    When your friend is balls deep in your anal cavity, then the joke has gone a bit too far.

    Maybe you are both gay or bi or even just curious, and you are still discovering yourselves sexually. You both want to explore further but are being careful not to go too far too fast because you don't want to scare your best friend away, but you both keep wanting to push the envelope.
