Is it normal my friends ignore me after i didnt go out with them?

So i was out with them last night, we were drinking til morning, i got around 10 am, went straight to bed. I slept all day, woke up around 9 pm and they invited me out again, i said no, i want to chill at home tonight and now they ignore me, is it normal? I kinda feel bad. We've been good friends for about 8 years now

If you told them you wanted to chill out at home they're probably just leaving you alone to chill out at home!

Isn't it a bit soon to be getting yourself into such a state about this? Though you wanted to chill out?

They are fake. Find you some new friends.

If it's the same night, they've gone out... Why would they respond to your texts if they're out and presumably busy socialising and having a good time?

And tbh, why are you so pressed on talking to them over text if you didn't want to go out to meet them personally? That's mixed friendship signals.

It's also going to depend how many times you've refused. If (hypothetically speaking here) you've refused to go out often with them before, they're probably taking that as a hint and think it's not worth trying with you anymore.

See if they keep it up. If they're talking to you again in a couple of days, ok it's nothing, forget about it. If this keeps consistently happening, you need new friends.

One last thing, I'd always advise against persistently texting people who (for whatever reason) aren't replying over texts. It's comes across needy and, even if they're real friends and care about you, it will end up turning them off you and pushing them away.

That sounds typical of people who you just think are friends. Not true friends. They probably take painal for being asshats unknowingly whilst being drunk.
