Is it normal my skin smells while in the sun

So I work outdoors. Usually in short sleeves so I'm always in the sun. Maybe I'm self conscious, but I notice my forearms/top of hands smell. If I use sunscreen it seems to block it. But the sun just has to touch me and I notice, no matter how hot it is.

To be sure, maybe you can see if it smells on a particularly windy day, in the rain, in the snow, or during a full moon.

Of course it's normal, most substances give off a smell when they heat up, doesn't mean it's unpleasant. Personally I like the smell of sun warmed skin, including my own

I don't know about the sun making your skin smell but my skin smells different after being in the wind. So does my hair. It's s very distinct smell, same every time. Windburn. Is that normal?

Maybe it's the scent of your skin cells slowly becoming cancerous.
