What are group homes?
Homes for groups of people?
Arent these just, you know, homes?
As someone who lives in one of said group homes, who's on the younger end of the spectrum (early 30s), the hardest thing to deal with is the lack of people you can have a conversation with and the petty comments and jealousy. I'm not good with sudden noise, there's lots here. I'm afraid of shouting as well, and it's an everyday occurrence here.
I get asked why I'm here a lot, by staff, cos I could easily live in the community with few daily visits. The help I get is good, as they go, in most it isn't –- the thing is the livelier the residents are, the worse the care you get is.

try google. cause im pretty sure if you type group homes into google, it'll have many results, and also possibly show you the ones closest to you and give you a definition and there are pictures and links to some of the website you can go to find information on them. however, people who arent in those "homes" tend to be very ignorant about them.
and some people are just ignorant... *
