they think im too smart to work at their company. i already got told twice im over quallified and they found another candidate. their just crappy little stores im applying for management pos.
It might be because you don't know how to properly use "their, they're, and there."
Overqualified means you think you are too good to work for them. They are obviously right. "crappy little stores"
it means they think you would just use the job as a temporary stop off because you have the qualifications to get some better, higher paying job
I think it's "normal" in today's job market, but I also think you need to learn how to sell yourself. Help the hiring manager see how your "awesomeness" can be an asset; don't think of these places as "crappy little stores," or apply at better places if you really do feel that way; make sure it doesn't seem like you'll leave in six months.
Obviously, you're not that great if they haven't hired you. You're doing something wrong. If you're as smart as you say, then you should be able to figure that out.
