Is it normal not taking medicine because i'm trans?
I'm a 18 year old trans male but I was assigned the gender female at birth because I have a vagina. I do not get periods, I have only had a period twice in my life which was when I was around 15.
Two years ago my mum took me to the doctors about it, and they assigned me some tablets that would make me have my period. I panicked and backed out of it later because I didn't want to feel more like a female, and males don't get periods. I know it's bad but the doctor didn't say anything about having no periods was harming me or if I didn't take the tablets I would die.
I'm thinking about taking them now because I heard there is a risk of getting a cyst in my uterus. I'll be taking testosterone soon however, and I'm scared the period pills will fuck it up. Should I take the period tablets or not?
