I farted one time at work. After that people were not friendly to me anymore and I no longer got invites to lunch. Is it really that bad?
Anybody who belittles you over a fart is an idiot, everybody farts it's a body function
If that's the only reason your co-workers don't like you then they're idiots, but are you sure that's the only reason?
If it is, they're not worth bothering about: can you find other employment with some sensible people?

They are being ridiculous and being rude only because they don't like you for farting. That is stupid.
If they liked you before the fart, they probably would have laughed or joked about it. But maybe they weren’t that into you in the first place...
That's stupid and immature. If you're normal, you should fart several times every single day. Being heard farting and being shunned for it is ridiculous.
