Is it normal not wanting to come out to parents

I'm a pansexual boy and have been pan for about 6 years. one of my LGBTQ+ friends came out to their parents recently and I was considering doing the same, but I don't see the need to tell them. Like why does it matter that they know, or why should I bother and they don't support it and then hate me? What is everyone's thoughts, should I tell them?

Who you’re attracted to sexually isnt your parents business.

Just drop all the silly terms and screw whoever you want but dont go around saying youre a pan or a binary. Dont be one of those annoying twerps. Just fuck a dude or a girl and dont make such a big deal about it. Its not that important.

So don't come out to them? It isn't their business who you fuck.

  • I honestly never got the whole coming out to your parents-thing. Why do they need to know whom you wanna screw or not?!
They'll find out eventually anyways, when you tell them that you have a partner and it's not someone they expected. Hopefully they'll have a good reaction since it's the year 2021.
