Is it normal oppression tug of war?
I'm tired of people saying Jews had it the worst. While sufferings should never be pitted against each other, I've noticed that people trip over themselves when it comes to the topic of black suffering; they discredit it either nonchalantly or in a vehement frenzy. Weird.
"Sanders did support a form of reparations—not for descendants of African slaves and victims of other injustices against African-Americans, but for Holocaust survivors and the families of those who were killed."
And: "The date was June 1, 1921, when “Black Wall Street,” the name fittingly given to one of the most affluent all-Black communities in America, was bombed from the air and burned to the ground by mobs of envious whites. In a period spanning fewer than 12 hours, a once thriving 36-Black business district in northern Tulsa lay smoldering–a model community destroyed, and a major African-American economic movement resoundingly defused."
It's also funny how some people will own up to killing “dem Indians” but will never honestly own up to slavery and the continued opression of black people. I guess since we’re not extinct or close to it, it doesn’t count. Give African people back their stolen land. Bring food and clean drinking water, which you poisoned in the first place. Build homes for villagers, which you ("Not ME! Even though my race as a majority heavily benefits from the bloody backs of brown folks :3. But I will deny it.") destroyed out of greed in search for blood diamonds, gold, and oil.
For the "We were slaves too!1!!" crowd, Irish Slave Catchers (Italians joined in later on), once indentured servants themselves and considered non-white, were “rewarded” with a few more crumbs from their Master’s table for catching, killing, or maiming runaway slaves.
