Is it normal overweight people constantly complaining about being overweight?

I'm not referring too all of them just the ones I know. They've all gained weight and all have different complaints about it. I'm paraphrasing it but the complaints are:

"I can't get a date because I'm overweight. The world is shallow"

"I want to be skinny but diet and exercise is too much work"

"Walking for more than ten minutes makes me sweat so much I hate it"

"Why does exercise suck? I don't want to exercise"

"Why does cleaning my room make me so tired?"(seriously, their room isn't even that much of a mess and they're covered in sweat and winded from that)

Is this normal to complain about? I used to be fat too and I didn't complain like this.

The "the world is shallow" is a new phenomenon from the various fat-is-good movements.

If anything I think the world has gotten less shallow, and more empathetic.

The overweight people I know don't like being overweight but they won't listen when I tell them to stop eating fattening stuff.

the majority of overweight people are just plain lazy, while there are real medical issues that may make it much more extremely difficult for someone to lose weight and keep that weight off, those types of people are much less common than the ones that are overweight because of eating junk food and sitting around all the time.

Being fat is the most obvious physical sign that someone is mentally weak with no self control, I say give them 6 months to prove they’re consistently losing weight/eating right/exercising and if they won’t do that they should be sterilised and banned from certain places. Forget a vaccine passport, we need an obesity passport to target the real killer.

Of course its normal. How do you think they got to that point?

People say fitness shouldn't be a personality, and it shouldn't, but to an extent it does say a lot about it. Someone who puts in the effort to work out and have a healthy body is a dillegent and hardworking person.

Their weight is simply a symptom of that attitude. If they want to get dates start walking off those pounds. If they didn't have that attitude you wouldn't hear from them about their weight, because they would already be putting the effort to fix things.

As someone who is overweight and trying to lose weight I can tell you for a fact that those who complain about their weight aren't going anywhere, I used to complain and hated exercise but I'm glad that exercise is helping me and changing me.

One thing that stopped me from losing weight was I would go and eat a lot of ice cream and I always chose processed shit and other horrible shit that I would feed myself.

Soon I will one day lose some pounds.

PS: Just because you're overweight doesn't mean you should have someone like you or want to date you, if someone doesn't like you or want to date you then it should accept it as it is.

I know this because I've been rejected a lot of times, but I never blame being overweight as being the problem, the people who rejected me weren't into me and I told myself " If someone doesn't want to date me then that's OK ".

If they wanted to lose the weight that bad they could. The truth hurts. They're too lazy and point fingers instead of admitting its their fault.
