Is it normal she didn't answer my question

Basically to cut a long story short, I was meant to potentially see someone last weekend. I hadn't seen her for 1 month!
I had asked her to thegbt event, she said I'll see closer to the time. I told her I wont be drinking for certain reasons, she said why? I told her and she didnt even open my message until I text her saying I'm here! Cant see you.?
First of all, why did she ask me why I am not drinking then not open my PM when I replied or say anything to that.?
Second of all, my mate called Sara (known her only 3 months online). Sara and I met once at an event briefly.
She text me that night saying saw your crush, looks like shes pre drinking with a mate!! She also said "She told me see u all later at the event "!! So I text my crush asking cant see u? She said
"I dont think I'm going, it's a bit late and I'm tired today,catch u another time and hope u have an amazing night ☺️!!
Few days later I text Sara, saying "Dam she didn't show up!! Sara said "it's good she didn't show, looks like she was happy, looks like she was on a date".
Wtf??
First of all she changed her story then is insensitive to my feelings. Also her saying good she didnt show, she looks happy makes it sound as if shes happy with out me and who cares she didnt show for me. My so called friend Sara also deleted her comments from that night as sooon as I text her saying that's extremely insensitive to say and rude !! She apologized saying she thought I was over her and me and the crush were friends.
Wtf?
