Is it normal so many republicans are closet liberals?

I started at university of idaho this year and everyone is so conservative but they have this whole underground thing going on where it is s&m and gay bars. But on the face everyone talks bad about that stuff but secretly they do it or support it. Why go out your way hating something on the outside but inside its cool? I dont get this is america not iraq people have freedom to be anything so then why the appearances? Why dont people accept who they are?

    I think that a lot of hatred for homosexuals and other 'deviants' might come from some form of projection or other. Basically, these people can't tolerate homosexuals because they've been told by society that homosexuality is bad and they themselves have gay feelings, but they can't accept responsibility for their feelings. They refuse to admit that these urges come from themselves, so instead they externalize their problems and claim that their gay feelings are coming from other people instead of themselves. Their wish to persecute gays might thus be seen as an effort to further purge themselves of their feelings, since they believe that these feelings are coming from other people or the environment, and they believe that by erasing all homosexual behaviors in their environment, they will erase all the homosexual feelings that they themselves experience.

      I don't mean to burst your bubble buddy but gays spread AIDS and your average Joe on the street knows it. There's a reason it was originally called GRID which stands for gay-related immuno deficiency.

    They fear a potato famine and don't want to incur the wrath of a god, so they, knowing gods can't see what you do in an "underground" way, act one way when a god can see them and differently when they're in the safe zone. It's not your place to out them and you're likely to be seen as an agent of a vengeful god, so you should be very careful who you to talk to about this.

    The Mormon church, which is a cult, feels threatened by liberalism. They silence anyone that speaks against their cultish values, especially at college campuses.

      The answer is Jewish lobby giving money to both parties which makes them the same. The the thing is Jews don't trust the democratic party 100% which can be seen with the recent Obama and Iran deal. If it weren't for the mistrust they should be the exact same 100% but only the image of difference the OP points out

          What are you talking about child? The Iranians would of built the fucking things anyway treaty or no treaty if they wanted to.

          The idea of the treaty is to limit their nuclear potential and convert some of their facilities for the purposes other from nuclear research.

          Now Iran actually honouring their side of the treaty, who the fucks know. But at least it gives the US the ability to dialogue with the Iranians to some degree.

            The idea of the treaty won't translate to anything. Ideals are peaceful, history is violent. And we don't need to dialogue with towelheads, we need to eradicate them.
