Is it normal starbucks gets supersnotty when i ask for extra caramel

So I have been going to starbucks since the early nineties,I always order the same thing.A venti ice caramel macchiato with extra caramel.Sometimes I work crazy crazy hours and when I am doing the technical boring office stuff , I need the caffeine. I also go there to calm down and talk with my wife on the weekends.I try not to be a dick. I tip well.Never had a problem until lately.The baristas get really mad at me and keep doing stuff like giving me all ice, giving me almond milk which makes me sick and a couple of them even yelled/lectured at me about how annoying giving me extra caramel is.It seems to happen at all of them lately. I did complain to corporate because the one starbucks was using shit out of the trash and the other one was so rude he made my wife cry.I have tried to make it at home but dunno how they make it,and it came out really shitty. I think if you make 10 bucks an hour plus tips and you charge that much for something it should be damn near perfect.

Dunkin donuts makes one and are really nice but it was not the same. The mom and pop place down the street made one that was better than starbucks but the owner retired and moved to florida. Any suggestions?

    I don't see the big deal. They sound like dicks. Can you buy your own caramel? I know it's the principle of the thing, but if they're being that cunty about it...

    Starbucks is just shit in general.

      I may never go to the two by my office again after the way the bitch treated me yesterday.Totally uncalled for.I will just go to the two in Malibu and santa Barbara when I am out that way. I might check out the Italian food truck and the Puerto rican lady they make iced coffees.

        That sucks. Some people are just cunts. Sucks that all the staff have attitude.

        Do you have an Einstein Bros Bagel shop near you? My boyfriend likes some of their coffees. I think. Or maybe it was only certain stores :/

        Good bagels, though.

        Edit: just checked. He said caramel mocha was best coffee he's ever had (in an Atl store...so Idk if that's gonna apply everywhere. Others are average to good.

          thanks to charlie m dweeb and all the other other cool commenyts there are quite a few Einsten brothers on the way to do deliveries/collab on custom made surfboards ty so much
