Is it normal talk to your pet like he/she is a human being?
I am 62 and live alone with my dog (sig), when I talk to my dog about a problem I am having he gets up and walks away! ... :)

I talk to my cats all the time. Sometimes they 'talk' (meow) back at me but it's therapeutic to be able to vent to someone who doesn't give an opinion but instead just listens :)
Yes, there's nothing wrong with it and actually can help you calm down and feel better as a pet won't judge you or force their opinion on you lol. My dog always listens to me and tilts her head looking into my eyes trying to understand - it's really cute. She always reacts adequately when she hears a word she knows :)
I love talking to my catfish like he's a human being I also imagine him as being a part of me he is soothing to look at.
I miss my Siamese cat, he was always by my side. We had over 14 wonderful years together!
