It blows my mind that theres adults alive that werent even alive when 911 happened and to me its such a vivid memory like it was yesterday.
I still feel like 911 happened yesterday. I remember my teacher brining in the TV in the classroom and watching it all on tv. I was 16
Saaame I was in 6th grade and the teacher brought in a TV to us. The teacher across the hall was frantically crying because her parents worked at the world trade center. Which is a crazy coincidence because we are in Tennessee. Her parents were fine but its not like we had cell phones back then.
I was 2 and a half years when that happened. Don't remember it, but atleast I was alive.
Yeah, it is. I was 18 and it was the summer of: the moon landing, Woodstock, anti war protests and the Manson murders. Hectic.
I still got to remind myself I live in the 2020s.
For some reason it always seemed like an imaginary number.
Like if I get a 30 year mortgage itll be paid off in 2052... 2052 that's not a real number.
I remember when 1969 was 17,18 years ago and I thought THAT was a long time ago.
The summer of 69 was memorable. The moon landing. High school dances with pretty girls everywhere. Drive in movies.
1969 was a good year.... The moon landing, the summer of love, hippies, Vietnam war protests (I lived near some of the major ones), etc.
I have vivid and mostly good memories of it...
