Is it normal that.

my laptop's battery dies in like half an hour or 1 hour. Even if I keep the brightness of the screen and sound at 10 or 15, it just saves like 5% to 10% of the battery. That's why I keep it plugged in the charger while using it.
PS: I have a Lenovo if it matters

Batteries tend to die quickly as they get older.

You can take battery out, take it apart and check the voltage of each cell and replace any dead ones. You van buy 18650 cells online for like £1-2 each and anyone can do it, just look it up on youtube. It's way cheaper and less wasteful than buying a new battery pack

that is normal, one hour is good enough. You can try a replacement battery if you are not satisfied tho.

I have a Lenovo too. It dies in literally 3 minutes if it's not plugged in but the battery is 3 or 4 years old now and the laptop even older. Works great otherwise. You can always change the battery.

  • Was it like that when you first got it? Batteries degrade over time so it might need replacing, or it might just be a small battery.

Oh geez if it's an old one that's normal. I used one for college that my boss gave me from previous work and after a while. Year at most. Of use I've had to keep the charger plugged for it to even turn on. Comes up with a screen too where I had to set date/time etc to even get it running

That's pretty normal if you have an older laptop.
