Is it normal that.. i'm so sick of the same online music that i mute songs?

General question, to see if anyone else finds themselves doing this: I listen to online radio and music as I work every day, and, though change stations often, find myself muting the songs b/c it's all the same crap. Will go back to the station after a few minutes and the song ends, then, after a few other songs, mute another b/c tired of hearing it.

I like Led Zeppelin, but cannot listen anymore. Was never a Floyd fan, so mute those all the time. Even more modern, or to my taste, songs..Tired of them all.

This also includes online radio commercials that play on a loop. Mute those, too.. Is it just me being impatient anymore, or, need to find other online stations?

While no specific songs, I will mention hating that "She Talks to Angels" song, which makes me mute the speakers and still want to rip my ears out.

    Solution: Find music you like and make a playlist or find playlists online.

    I always end up turning the tv off because of the same ads being on all the time

    I've been bouncing around and checking out other online radio stations and playlists, and it's going well. However, still find myself hitting mute for most, if not all, commercials that I can recite in my sleep by now. ESPN radio is terrible with that.

    Also going to music on YouTube more often, using their playlists.
