I'm 18 year old female and my male friends were joking about bear grills island survival show. The girls failed so hard on it. Lol
Then we started talking about if we actually had an island only full of lesbians, or bi girls? They can leave and come back but that's it, no penises or sperm allowed to set foot on the island.
Heard a rich Finland business women is planning to make one.
So do you think this would work as a society? Or nah?

I think it could work in terms of their ability to govern themselves and run the society. However, I do think there would be a problem, though not necessarily related to being an all female island directly.
I think there would be a couple of problems though. One would be getting new members, since without men, there would be nobody born on the island. Thus, they would need to keep getting new members. Though, some communes have practiced celibacy and overcome this obstacle.
The other problem I could see is that there may be some recruits were approaching it in the wrong way. And not realizing how difficult it is to actually set up a commune. Thus, some members may not stay for long, thus reducing the number of members further. It's possible it could work out, but there would be a lot of obstacles.
It depends who you take, and what level of technology they can take with them.
If you plopped a bunch of genius women on a resource-rich island with some schematics and tools then they'd probably do very well.
If you plopped some waddling feminazis on an island then they'd eat each other and cry that the plants were creating a patriarchy.
Sure, why not? I wouldn't be interested in going there but some women are really into "women only spaces" for some reason so it might be quite popular. If you were gay it might be really hot to go there for a holiday.

Truth be told it would be a disaster. Women are way too indirect to govern an entire society on their own. If they wanted something done they'd hint at it instead of saying what they want so nothing would ever actually get done, and they would constantly try and compete.
Not going to last long as a society without sperm lol. Socially like any group of people therr will be quarrels of course but I think only women would be able to balance a community once a hierarchy is established.
How would they make more people it's like if it was a all male island if it was one gender it won't last long even if was a utopia.
