Is it normal that buddhist monks are always good people?

During my travels I often came across Buddhist monks who would always welcome me and offer delicious food and offer supplies for my travels. They do this for almost any person they come across. is it normal those people are so good.?

    not always, i heard there was this tiger temple place tourists could go to pet/see tigers though it turned out the monks running the place were abusing and starving the tigers

    How about the ones who burn down the places of worship of other religions, sexually abuse women and children????

    So no, not always good, although most may be
