Is it normal that i am conscious whilst sleepwalking?

Since I was a child I have always either sleepwalked/talked/or had really vivid dreams that I always remember. Now I am 18 and I sleepwalk multiple times per week where I can remember it very clearly, I am not sure if this is even classed as sleepwalking because I am conscious and aware of what I'm doing, I even check my phone for the time and how long I've been walking around my room and it's usually 4 hours I'm up for. There is always a reason why I'm walking around my room e.g I believe I'm on a farm doing work, but i can't physically get myself into bed and think "what am I doing" it just seems rational at the time.
Also a few years ago I used to sleep walk a lot and I used to wake up with deep cuts on my thighs and breasts. There's also been incidents where my friend has slept round in the same bed and she has woke up to me with a pair of scissors standing at my bed.
I have anxiety (not that bad I'm just stressed) and I think I've always had an over active mind. I have never been diagnosed with any sleep disorders.

Have you ever heard of DID (Disassociate Identity Disorder)? You might know it by the name Multiple Personality Disorder (which is no longer it's official name). It has a negative stigma attached to it, but it isn't always the stereotype that TV portrays. It's worth researching. People go into disassociate episodes and they may or may not recall them afterwards. Sometimes people "wake" with no knowledge of how they got where they are, or they don't understand why they've done it.
If you have little energy because of this, and ESPECIALLY because you have caused yourself harm, I would recommend seeking professional help(THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE CRAZY, For the record). They can help you identify what it is and give you medication or therapies to help deal with it.
