Is it normal that i am self-conscious at school

I'm so self-conscious around other people. I can't approach women at all. When I do, I feel awkward, as if everyone is watching.

Alone, it's a different story. I feel much more relaxed when I'm alone with someone - outside the lecture hall - away from all the supposedly watchful eyes.

I realize this can't go on any longer. It's how I met someone special and later lost them. Is there anyone else like me?

    I feel the same way. I've gotten over this somewhat by not caring about what other people think about me, unless I value their opinion.

    I used to be EXACTLY like tht in middle school n no offense to u but one day i thought to my self. How pathetic am i?! I started to not give a shit what people thought i spoke up in class n it turns out im hilarious n i have so many frnds now im literally popular but i actually still have those feelings some times but please try to NOT GIV A SHIT . BE CONFIDENT
