Is it normal that i am sensitive to large changes in latitude?

If I travel more than a couple degrees in a short amount of time, (particularly travelling by air, but it happens by auto as well) I feel very disoriented until the next day, and sometimes a little sick (particularly when I'm at a higher latitude - usually when moving to lower latitudes it tends to be less stressful, but still disorienting, and there's likely some lurking variables).

I can also tell when I'm facing due N or due S by a sort of a tingling in the base of my nose, similar to when I feel a sneeze just first coming on. So I can align myself perfectly to the North or South, and fairly well to other directions, it's like having a built-in compass! Surel this can't be normal, but please don't tell me I'm not alone in this?

You sound like a migratory bird. All those things are symptoms of being a migratory bird.

To be honest, I find this story very hard to believe in its entirety.

But I'm not a bird, nobody is in my family that I know of was a bird either, thats the weirdest part. At least someone voted yes, hopefully not as a joke.
