Is it normal that i believe people should stop judging others this way?

I believe that instead of judging others based on stupid, out-of-date stereotypes, people should judge others by legitimate FACTS, Statistics, Graphs, and Personal Experience. It's stupid how people always say how all Americans are evil, fat, and stupid as well as it's stupid to say all English folk speak in high and mighty voices and every Brit drinks tea and eats scones or how every black person is a future Criminal or Welfare Recipient. It's not fair nor is it accurate. It's just not accurate and we should abolish every stereotype known to man and pick up my more In-Date ideals.

Do you think it is necessary we judge others at all?
Why not accept them for who they are and live and let live? You are not solving the problem, just changing the prejudice from one category to another.

I believe people should judge based on intelligent up-to-date stereotypes.

Most people recognise the fallaciousness of certain broad stereotypes in their early teens.

It usually takes contrary examples to challenge stereotypes though. Without that, there's not a lot of reason to disbelieve them.

Also, stereotyping isn't inherently wrong or negative. It's natural human behaviour.

Yes, I agree! Also most of the world other than the US(America) seems to have tea as a staple. The US seems to have Adopted Coffee and soda though as a rejection of England because of the Boston Tea party. So saying only England drinks tea is silly. Most of the world is suffering the Obesity academic and UK seems to be right under the US. So at this time most of the world is suffering from it but US seems to be at the top of the chart.

What's the difference between judging by statistics and judging by stereotype/prejudice?

Categorizing and generalizing are big parts of human thinking. The concept of a car is an example of this, as a car that is different from all other cars is still thought of as a car.
To create a category of English people in your mind and generalize a bit about what their traits are can be useful and harmless.

Your expectation of what someone is like should, of course, not be some fixed stereotypical expectation, and you should have understanding of other people beyond stereotypes and have understanding of the circumstances of their life.
