Is it normal that i can feel what others are feeling?

I am a high schooler and ever since I was in 7th grade I could FEEL what people around me felt. When it first started I couldn't control it and everyone else's feelings would just come pouring at me. I would sit in a classroom and all of the sudden I felt really sad or excited or bored, even if we were just working on a paper. With time I learned how to stop the feelings and I would only feel them once I look at someone else's face. I'm not really sure how to explain it, and I'm pretty scared about it, is this normal?

This is cool. You're basically a highly sensitive person in that you're what's known as an empath. You can pick up on others emotional feelings easily. It's a bit like how chameleons change color depending on how they sense their surroundings. This is a fascinating mysterious world. So, love your sensitive power a bit more, I think.

Here's something about what an empath is. It just means you are empathetic, that you have empathy. Some people don't have it. Some do. You're one such person.

Here's the link --> Or just Google "empath"

Being an empath also means setting up personal boundaries and not letting in the negativity of others. Recognize negativity, acknowledge it, but don't let it in. Empathetic people often tend to ignore their own needs and personal development as well, so be aware of this and make time for yourself every single day.
