Is it normal that i can't bring myself to pick up trash around the house?

It's not laziness, I go crazy when my mind wanders. I also have a toilet that needs fixing, been resorting to a bucket. Haven't emptied it out in a week but it has a lid on it.

    I have the same problem. Turned out to be my depression. Fight it when you can, and don't judge yourself too harshly.

    Boy am I glad I don't live anywhere near you. Your abode (one could hardly call a place stinking of garbage and sewage a home) must be a rather odorific place.

      Then you must be like me, obsessive compulsive. My shits ultra-clean, air purification system HEPA with general MERV 18 for HVAC rated for 4 months I change every 2. No dust ULTRA-CLEAN

        I can't say I'm as clean as you, but everything is in its place and I throw away anything I don't use or have a need for. I vacuum and dust most days.

    You can play the blame game by blaming it on depression, I'd say its plain old laziness. Reminds me of my slob friend.

      I see where you're coming from, but it wasn't the clutter, but the "I go crazy when my mind wanders." line that made me think psychiatry.
