Is it normal that i can't stop snuggling my cat?

At the very moment I am writing this, I am still squishing his head under my chin while he purrs loudly. I press his head against mine every night before we go to sleep (we sleep in the same bed) and I broke away just a few moments ago to press his head against mine again. The cat spends most of his winter days in my bedroom and I have been snuggling him for at least a cumulative 4 hours a day. I must take frequent breaks from my work to snuggle and/or cuddle him and it's getting to the point where I feel like I simply must snuggle the cat or face repercussions of some sort. We snuggle, and snuggle, and snuggle, and snuggle, and snuggle. I haven't been able to hang with my friends recently because I've been far to busy snuggling the cat and I often have to make excuses for my absence from them.

    I read your title as:

    "IIN that I can't stop smuggling my cat?"

    And I was like: "what kind of dumbass drug dealer is this?"

    Then I read your story and I was like: "oooh..snuggling"

    Completely normal... until you mentioned it was interfering with your work and social life. At this point I would say it may be best to seek help with this issue.

    If you snuggle it really hard you can get it out of your system and move on to other things (like Lenny from Of Mice & Men)
