Is it normal that i carry the guilt of my whole life?

I can't sleep at night thinking about all the evil things I've done throughout my life, some of them illegal. I've never been caught, but I've ruined some lives along the way. I don't want to confess to some pedophile priest or spew my guts out to some idiot therapist.
