Is it normal that i change myself in order to be more appealing to people?

every school year, ill study people and what they react to. Good triggers, bad triggers, what triggers conversations , what people like to talk about , how to interact with people , and this year, i put all my studies to the test and have made a lot of friends. is it normal to analyze people like this?

I think the only way to stand out and meet friends your type is to be yourself.

    Works pretty well for me.
I don't have many friends but the ones that are are very good friends.

It's normal but stupid; don't pretend to be something just to get people to like you, it will not work out, trust me (I'm an engineer).

Everyone has different conversational cues they use when talking to various other people. The adjustment can be anywhere from subtle to highly differential. Don't worry about it, you're fine.
