Is it normal that i didn't grow as i should?

I'm concerned because when I was a child my pedeatrician told me and my parents that I would have a height between 5'5 and 5'8, yet here I am, an eighteen year old girl at 5'4. I did exercise (swimming, basketball and skating) throught my childhood and teens, also I ate well...my parents are 5'3 and 6'1

Can I still grow?
What might've gone wrong?

My sister didn't stop growing until she was 21. Maybe there's hope for you to grow. There's nothing wrong with 5'4 though.

Maybe your doctor was just wrong? They're human, not infallible all the time.

5'4 is like average for a girl anyway, or not far off. I'm a 5'4 man and a lot of grown women are more or less the same height as me in flats, if not slightly shorter or taller, so you're pretty normal.

And it could always be worse. You're not abnormally short, and it's better to be 5'4 than a 6ft-something woman whose shorter boyfriends look awkward standing next to her.

You can still grow beyond 18, and even if not, it's only an inch below what your pediatrician predicted, what's the big deal?

Get a really short boyfriend and you will look like a giant.

Men look at it that women are all the same size laying down.
