Is it normal that i don't like apple products at all?

I feel like Apple products are overrated. I understand the brand is very notorious, ok, but I don't like that people get obsessed with their products. I think other brands make products even more performant and nice and the more people get obsessed with Apple, the more I hate this brand. Is this normal? :D

I have a burning hatred for Apple and could honestly write a 30 page research paper as to why in less than the time it would take me to throw an iphone at brick wall

I hate Iphones bcuz they're so proprietary and once the battery is used up, you have to buy a whole new phone. For my android I just bought a new battery for $20. Also laptops are not designed to last. They have a monopoly on their products and plus they're made to break after X amount of time. FUCK THEM!

I have some of their products. I got them when I was deluded about Apple. They are overrated. I could've saved do much money if I went with a non-apple product and it would have been worth it too. I think a large part of why Apple has this bizarre, devoted fan base, is because Apple is a cult. I know it that may sound strange, but studies have been done to compare Apple with the components that make up an religious cult, and they are exactly the same.

I also don't like them anymore due to their horrendous impact on the environment and claiming to be green, when they aren't. And, the slave camp they had at Foxconn.

Yeah, their products are fucking overpriced and not that great, but they provide decent service though.

the performance isn't the worst, but not that good considering what you pay for them.

for what you pay for a MacBook, you can get 3x the machine in a PC,(or three low-end ones!) plus a larger software selection. plus repairs are way cheaper and anyone with enough skill can repair a pc (although that's getting harder to do everyday)

in other words, you can buy 3 Chevys (Or 2 fully loaded buicks) for one Cadillac.

They're not horrible, but they're nothing special either.

When I renewed my Sprint contract, the salesmen tried to stick me with the iPhone 5s for "only" $299 with a 2-year agreement. I don't even wanna know how much it is WITHOUT contract renewal. I opted out and went with a FREE iPhone 4s instead. There really isn't enough of a difference for me to spend $300 for that newer phone. This is the first time I own an iPhone and my only reason for getting it was because I didn't have to pay a dime for it. It's not a bad phone, but it's nothing to brag about either.

sure Windows isn't perfect (and neither is Mac), but its what I grew up with, and its endlessly customisable. I can put new parts in my PC and make it run better (on a mac, you will have to buy a new machine) also, there is more programs for it.
everything put on a mac must go though Apple and be approved by them.

plus , when something does go wrong, i can usually and easily fix it, instead of shipping it back to the factory every time.

plus i get 3X the PC for the price of a Mac.

I feel the opposite. I love apple products and hate windows PCs.
This is because every single person i know who has a windows pc is always running it to the shop. I've honestly never known anyone to keep one for more than a year without it gradually becoming harder to use because of viruses. (i even have a friend who has spent over 5000 dollars on his gaming computer just to keep it in working condition)

I've had 3 PCs in my lifetime. The first was a Dell Windows XP desktop computer that never worked correctly out of the box. The second was an Acer laptop (running on Vista) that got corrupted after about a year (it tries to open EVERY type of file with Dosbox), and the third was a Dell laptop (running on Windows 7) which was so consumed with viruses after a year that it lagged constantly.

(and just so you know, all three of these computers had licensed anti-virus software on them)

I bought a Macbook two years ago after my 3rd PC conked out, and i've never had any trouble with it.
From my experience, Macs are more user friendly, more sleek in design, faster, more functional, and you actually get your money's worth out of them.

    Enjoy your viruses, people! :P

funny, my Toshiba's four years old (with Windows 7) and still runs like a top.

And what was your anti-virus, cause it isn't very good. just because you pay for it doesn't make it any good. Ive always used free anti-virus and hardly ran into trouble. make sure you find one that's well rated.

Also, vista was junk. why do you think it was Replaced so quickly? and Dell is Low-end garbage.

also, mac isn't immune to viruses. A Mac can be (and have been) hit with viruses. if you don't run an anti-virus and Anti-Malware program on your computer, regardless what it runs, you're playing Russian Roulette with your computer, and you may just end up with a $1,500 Paperweight, and/or $5,000 less in your bank account.
