i'm a guy and i don't like showing my feet around other guys, it's been that way since i was a kid and i can't explain why. i wouldn't even show my feet around my own dad. is there anyone else out there like this? any guys who don't like showing their feet around other guys or any girls who don't like to show their feet around other girls? am i the only person like this? i'm fine showing my feet around girls and i like wearing sandals in public but if i'm alone with one guy or i'm around a bunch of guys i will have socks on if not both socks and shoes.

    I think it's weird purely from the "only conscious around guys" angle. Why not girls too?

    I feel funny ways about feet. They're absolutely fine flat on the ground, in bed under the covers, or with sandals/flip-flops that cover the soles.

    What I hate is when people just have their bare feet all up in the air in my face. That grosses me out, and I'd feel conscious of putting my bare feet up like that.

    Feet are a higly erotic part so yes must be something sexually related, only you can now... maybe some bioenergetic therapy could help you find out

    I knew a guy who wouldn't wear flip flops in public because he was self-conscious about his feet. His feet were fine, but his ex made comments about them, so he thought they were ugly. I got him to try flip flops and get used to them, and now he's better with it.

    When I was dating, guys with foot fetishes were very obvious about it, and it made it obvious very quickly to me when I wasn't interested in a guy touching me because they couldn't keep their eyes and even hands off my feet. <Shudder>

    I know lots of people who are very bothered by ugly feet It's a thing.
