Is it normal that i don't shave?

I'm a 19 year old girl and I don't like to shave or trim down there. I don't shave much at all. Most times my underarms are shaved, every blue moon I'll do my legs, but as far as down there, I keep it natural. I have shaved that area before and I didn't too much like it. I've never tried waxing but I do know the experience of hairlessness and it's not that part that I don't like, it's the itchiness of new growth hairs and the constant maintenance that I don't like. It's such a hassle, a seemingly unnecessary and painful one. Is it weird for me to want to insist on being natural? Does it matter to you whether or not your girlfriend is natural or shaved? Are there any people who actually have a preference for natural girls?

Its is perfectly normal, and some guys like myself like it hairy. I beg my girl friend to never cut her lovely bush, and the sensation of my dick on her bush is the most pleasant feeling I ever have :)

OP, there's nothing wrong with wanting to remain natural. Yes, there are definitely guys who are into it & anyone who won't accept it might not be worth your worry.
Personally I like both for different reasons & I'm sure a lot of guys are the same

I don't think it has anything to do with cleanliness or hygiene but I totally prefer mine and anybody else's trimmed at least! I can't believe there are this many people that are ok with au natural. I'm not judging, it honestly blows my mind.

I love it when it's wax! Oh my god. It's seriously one of my favorite things in the world. But yeah... Me and my boyfriend are like I said at the very least trimmed up. I don't know why I don't like the body hair... It just grosses me out. I can't stand the 70s style bush but everybody has their thing.

I'd be so grossed out i'd walk out if a girl revealed a bush run wild.

It's part of a woman's hygiene to keep it neat down there, as much as it is to shave their legs and their arm pits.

    Ok fair point, I suppose I misspoke when I said it is unhygienic, it just appears that way to me. But a more accurate word unsightly, and generally undesirable.
    
    It's your right to be as hairy as you want and I'm sure you can find someone who is into that, and it's also my right to determine it's not my cup of tea.

Girl here, I havent shaved in years. I do trim down there, but my legs remain hairier than some mens, and my armpit hair is rather long too. I have recieved respect and criticism from it. Because i do it for me and it is my preference for my body, those that criticise because they dont understand, fuck em. Ive looked at it as a quick helpful way to weed out the mr wrongs and quickly get men you arent interested in off your back.
It all depends on preference. There are alot of guys out there that appreciate a more natural woman. Be as you want for yourself. Dont ever change who you are just to be accepted. If you wear your hair like you just dont care (what others think), it shows strength and self respect.

Honestly, it totally depends on personal preference and nothing else. Objectively, it doesn't fucking matter. If you prefer shaving/being shaved down there, do it, if you don't, don't. It's as simple as that.

I personally don't really mind at all on my partner but I occasionally shave myself because I don't like the hair getting too long on myself :P
