Is it normal that i feel like my cat is a person?

I seriously feel like my cat is a person. I mean, he is so affectionate and he always sleeps next to me. He is such a sweet cat and he will even bite me gently and lick me afterwards. One time I even told my mom that if the cat was a human, then he would probably be my boyfriend. She looked at me like I was a weirdo, but that's just how close I feel to this kitty.

    My cats know what mood I'm in by what music I'm playing, and if I'm singing. You should see how fast they run into the room if the hear "Come on Eileen".

    If I'm singing they know they can get scratched for at least as long as the song plays. The male even puts his ears back if I hit the wrong note.

    The little girl, if she wants to look cute, picks up one foot and tilts her head.
