Is it normal that i find it very difficult to memorize lyrics

Almost everyone I know can easily memorize lyrics within a short span of time, even from 1-3 listens of a song. No matter how much I listen to a song and sing the lyrics, I always pause and/or mess up. I pretty much can memorize the tune almost perfectly in the first or second listen and hum it out well, it just bums me out how learning lyrics is hard for one song at a time

    You should probably stop smoking weed for about a week, I am sure that would help with your short term memory loss!

    The ability to quickly memorize song lyrics has always been something I've found to be one of the amazing things about the professional musicians I've known. Some can't even drive a car safely, or manage their own lives, but anything to do with their craft they seem to do with ease.
    There are hundreds of memory enhancing exercises and systems out there. Take advantage on the internet and get to work.
