Is it normal that i find sex dolls disturbing?

My buddies and I were having drinks and laughing last weekend at my house. We were talking about how there was a perfect woman for everyone and one guy asked if he could use my puter to show us his example of the perfect woman for him, I bit and he started his search. He pulled up an ad for a lifelike sex doll and explained how she can't give you an std and you don't have to buy her things, etc. We had a good laugh about it and moved on.

But something really bothered me about the doll itself. It honestly looked a bit like a corpse; no emotion on it's face, eyes that just look in the same spot, a clammy appearance to its skin. That's when I realised that the type of guy who would have sex with something like this has some serious issues, like they would enjoying sex with an unconscious person or are a necrophile or something. Am I the only one who finds these dolls and the people who buy them to be creepy as hell?

    I don't mind people pleasuring themselves with sexdolls or any other sex toys. Pleasuring oneself with kids is more disturbing. But I completely understand that you don't feel like having sex with a doll. It's perfectly normal to be disturbed by it. Many people are.

      Yeah, I've heard that there's a startup company working on a realistic looking and feeling sexbot. It's creepy as hell to me, but I think I might invest some money there.

    Honestly I would totally buy one put cute pajamas on it and just have it at night to hold me, id be willing to drop a few grand for the ability to be held everynight. My boyfriend doesn't hold me :(

      I'd rather have a Golden Retriever with a Champion bloodline than a doll any day of the week.

      I once saw an episode of a hoarders show with this old woman who collected baby dolls. Her attic was so full of them that the ceiling was ready to cave in which is terrifying. The show had made a pile of dolls in the backyard the the size of a second house. I wanted so badly to set it all aflame!

        He is till we go to bed, don't get me wrong i wpuld love to have a pitbull but currently in my life I know i would neglect it's need for going outside and playing and junk. Plus in a few years my hope is to go go school and after that I could be in pet free zones for a month at a time. I can't do that to an animal that's just cruel.

        But damn thats alot of dolls!!! Thats insane, wpuld a been cool of they built s house out of the dolls

              I dunno, I gotta get my money right, and get in better shape, because Lord knows dogs need to be walked. I'm kinda spoiled right now, because my senior Siamese cat just wants to cuddle all the time.

    I can see the appeal of the dolls, and I don't think anyone's a creep for using them.

    However, they are indeed a little creepy to me, like mannequins.
