Is it normal that i find the way americans take baths disgusting

In my country we take showers before we take a bath so we don't have to sit in a tub of murky, dirty water. We use the bath tube to soak in not wash the dirt from our skin and sit in it....

    I don't think many Americans bathe in tubes. Those who do use tubs.

    Murky, dirty water? This all sounds very odd. Are you by any chance near a bbq'd gator?

    Having taken baths with quite a few Americans I have to say I have no problem whatsoever with the way it was done.

    So go back to whatever shit hole country you came from. I don't see the problem here? Oh, I see now. You no longer have to eat from garbage cans. Yet we are disgusting. Right.

    • Yeah I guess so after sitting in a tube of grime, just plain nasty. Surprised women don't get all kinds of infections.

    First of all, why would water become "murky" if you bathe in it? Unless you're covered in oil that is not gonna happen. And a little bit of dirt/earth doesn't hurt. Taking a bath after a shower (or vice versa) sounds incredibly wasteful to me.

    • Typical American, don't even know your own language.

      murk·y
      ˈmərkē/Submit
      adjective

      (of liquid) dark and dirty; not clear.
      "the murky silt of a muddy pond"
      synonyms: dirty, muddy, cloudy, turbid, riled, roily
      "murky water"
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Can you SEE the words DARK and DIRTY....NOT CLEAR?
      Murky does not mean an Oil Slick...
        I'm not American and I have no idea what makes you assume so. Anyways, I know very well what that word means, and there is NO WAY to get clear, soapy water murky with a bit of everyday's dirt on your body. I once bathed after being half covered in mud and that wasn't enough to make the water murky.
        • You should be American.
          So your clear soapy water was still clear...sure.
            Thanks, I guess?
            Anyways, maybe you're just either very dirty or have a phobia/hygiene OCD.
            • No I am neither.
              It's just nasty to sit in a tub of dirty water with dead skin, body oils, germs, and other stuff. I suppose since you are so clean you don't even leave a dirty ring on you tub when you get out.
    But you are used to scraping the grime off of your women before you guys take turns fucking them. And I guess you need to scrub down their hairy arm pits with powdered cleanser to get the smell off them, right. But hey, enough about your two sisters.
  • I didnt know that was an American stereotype. I usually take showers but if I take a bath I shower off before and after the bath.
    Most Americans take showers only, which last for 7 - 10, more or less. Many stop taking baths some time after age 10 or so, or they live in house without showers or can't afford to waste too much water. Either way, you shouldn't be so judgemental about an entire country over their bathing methods.
    • Really, can you show me the data to back this claim up?
      How do you know what most Americans do?
        Well, it takes an American to know what Americans do. lol
    In the rare occasions I take a bath, I usually rinse off in a shower afterwards.
    That being said, I'm not American, so...
      That's what I do, because of the hot water. I basically don't want to run out of hot water so I take a bath first, because if I showered first I could possibly run out of hot water while filling the tub. I'd be open to taking a shower first, but I'd still prefer to rinse off afterwards.
