Is it normal that i get annoyed when people online ask me to share real food?

Okay so I'm chatting with someone online about life or comic books etc. and then I say "Be right back" before telling them about some coffee and some snack that I'm getting up to get like a cranberry muffin or some shortbread cookies. They say something like "omg share" or "why you no share D:" or "you know i love those give me some"... It gets on my nerves because I want to share but it's impossible, and they're acting like food teleportation devices have been invented. It's like they want me to somehow awaken an inner role play to real life converter and I can't do that.

It's common courtesy to stuff a portion of whatever you're eating into an envelope and send it to whomever is asking for some, wherever you are in the world :)

Now give me a bit of everything in your fridge...

When they say "share" they're just joking around. They don't actually expect you to share, Op.

I agree...and kisses and hugs online are overrated, 'cause really I don't feel a thing!

I do hugs, maybe kisses...maybe more. But not sharing food online, that's retarded. I'm glad someone else feels like me.

Dude, food teleportation devices HAVE been invented, but the government won't share them with us. Using the alien technology from area 51 this is how all the bunkers for the government officials will be supplied if there is a disaster or war.
They already have the farms set up on those 'Forest Service' reserves with the big high fences we drive by just outside our communities.

This is a weird question and I think you are really overthinking things, OP.

Honestly, I prefer someone online or the phone asking me to share than someone asking in person, because I can't share with them. If someone in person asked me to share I'd think it was bad manners unless of course they have something good to offer me in turn, because they're supposed to wait for me to offer.
