Is it normal that i get jealous of my lesbian girlfriend talking with other women

I’m 22 and have been living with her since I was 19. She’s 47 and pays for everything. But she has multiple female friends that she talks with everyday and I get jealous of her doing it. She’s not just my lover, but my only real friend. I stay at home and I wait anxiously for her to come home from work. She’s my world.

You sound more like a pet than a partner...

For example, I had my cats going on 4 years. I provide for them, they don't have to do shit. If I were to throw them outside in the real world, they wouldn't know what to do; and I feel you're the same way... and you're a human, you should be able to do more than live like a house cat.

I get you love her and there's nothing wrong with being a house-girlfriend, but you need to love yourself as well. Go to college, get a job, do something instead of waiting for your caretaker to come home, cause that's what pets do.

You've allowed yourself to be treated as a traditional stay at home wife to your lesbian lover and now you're paying the price.

If you want the advantages of a dependent relationship, which personally I would find boring and restrictive whether it was with a woman or man, that's the price you'll have to pay. She sounds like a control freak to me and you sound controlled.

She's 47 and someday she will be really old and you will still be young. You should step it up a bit and tell her you want to start taking classes again. As it is now you are her play thing. I would hate to think what would happen if she got bored with you and made your life miserable so you would leave. Then what?

Everyone says that, and especially controlling people say that. Besides who is to say she might not die in a car accident tomorrow?

of course she says that and its true, but what's in it for you? you get to see and old lady croak and leave you nothing.

    • I don’t feel controlled. But, I respect her and usually do what she says because she provides and she’s older.

I agree with others saying you are a pet. There is some type of relationships in bdsm where the partner is a labelled a pet and follows thier masters orders. However they usually have freinds, a job, classes they do on the side. So I think in your case its far more dysfuctional. Say you want to get a job, take classes or leave.

Why don't you try to get a job or go to school or something?

Well, what do you do all day at home? I think it's probably bad for you to stay at home all day.

        • I do most of the chores. I surf the Internet. I take the car that she bought me to go shopping but I don’t stay gone long.

What about just a part-time job, and or maybe one or two classes at a local community college?

            • She doesn’t want me to do any of that. When I moved in with her, I quit taking classes. She said that she’d provide for me.

sounds like you're pretty dependent on her. jealousy is a very normal feeling, but your situation sounds like a potentially harmful one if you're reliant on her for everything. sounds like she's your only contact with the world, i think it would be good for you to try to make other friends too

You're basically asking the same question as if a straight man was asking if it was normal to get jealous of his partner talking to other men.

If that was the situation here, no-one would bat an eyelid.

Some people are possessive over their other halves. You appear to be no different. Normal.

I can get where yhur coming from. My bf I met wen I was 17 im now 24. Wether yhu wanna hear it or not theres a jealousy factor there. Trust me ik.

Yhu have to make friends n go out a lil bit cuz that will def take yhur mind from it some. And ita not healthy for yhurself or mind to juss sit at home and wander (been there done that
Also be confident in your relationship. If everything is good, don't go looking for the bad. But if yhu honestly feel some women (which is plausible, once again ik) are up to no good then let yhur partner know.

Communication in this situation is def key

It's okay to feel your feelings, but don't let it get the better of you. Be honest with your partner about your fears and ask for her help in working on your own sense of security. Don't ask her to change herself or stop talking to people, just work to build and maintain trust. She can be your world, but don't forget to be your own person too so you can enjoy that world together.

Here's the thing. You are a f*cking plaything. You are her toy and her pet and she doesn't want you to leave because you belong to her. She's just a lonely old woman who keeps you as an object, like a dog. You wait ALL DAY for her to come home, and then you go running to meet her and please her like a master. You need to get out of there because you're f*cking up YOUR life so some BDSM hag can own you. You'll be sorry you died alone as a pet instead of having a life.

Lesbians are just people, you know, and the dynamic in this particular lesbian relationship is copying tradtional male/female marriage, which I don't believe is common but does happen.

There are control freaks and people prepared to be controlled across the sexual/gender spectrum: sad but true

You need to display dominance, hit that bitch! Most problems with women are because the dominant (i.e more male partner) has not been giving her the care attention she needs, with regards to beatings. If you truly care for her and love her then beat her, it's for her own good.
