Is it normal that i hate birthdays -especially other peoples

Quite frankly, I find the entire concept of it to be overrated and I just feel so uncomfortable on my birthday when it seems like everyone tries so hard to pretend to care? Also, I really don't like when it's someone else's birthday because I go out of my way to remember, buy gifts, make it special when honestly, I don't care.

    First people dont pretend to care...they care...maybe a few do idk I cant as speak for every person in the world...however most people care...if they love you are your friend then they care about you.
    I like to get people gifts so I like birthdays...I really like cake so I like birthdays.

    Not likening other peoples birthdays because its too much "work" for you seems selfish to me.

    I think your own kids birthdays are good.
    But most parents hate knowing they're another year older.
    maybe you're getting older.
