Is it normal that i hate pet owners?

I don’t like pets or the kinds of people who own them. I don’t see how there’s any reward in donating massive amounts of time and money to caring for an animal that is of no practical use to you. I get when people have them for work or as things such as guard dogs but when people keep small, helpless animals just for the hell of it, I find myself wanting to kick it across the room. I don’t like to hear people talk about their pets or love of animals because I can’t take interest in it or relate to them in any way.

There are parallels to be drawn with an individual's rationales for not having kids. They a drain on your resources both emotionally as well as financially & are of no practical use. They will drive you to the brink of insanity & break your heart more than once or twice. And it's ta-ta to your sex life as well.

Non-breeders get fed up with couples & their constant 'family chat' which to some is excruciating & identical to everyone else's familial stories. Parenthood turns happy, fun, exciting, solvent people into poverty-stricken dullards who look trapped, miserable & who's only break from the perma-bickering tedium is a fun packed trip round the supermarket (with the kids) for the weekly groceries. Oh & going to work.

And yet people still have children.

I'm very much against reproducing, and I respect people more who choose to never become parents.

If you are childless you dont understand. Passing on your genetics is a biological drive we all have, and children give us purpose. Raising the next generation is important and not just "a waste of time and resources"

You'd kick someone's pet across the room, just cause you don't like pets? Not normal bro...

You don't like pets. That's fair enough. Different people like different things.

Wantinf to harm an animal is not normal, though. It did nothing to you. You're meant to be a human, with far greater intelligence and rationality. Wanting to physically harm a harmless animal because you don't like it is fucked up.

You wanna kick someone pet across the room? Thats too cruel for me! There are many reason why people keep pets. Maybe they are alone and just want a buddy to talk to or playing with 'em. Its normal people don't like pet but in your case.... You also don't like peple who owned pet. Look like you're just jealous. Go find friends especially with multiple background. Maybe it can help...

Denial runs deep, and it ain't just a river in Egypt.

    • Yet my childhood was perfectly happy, so that makes your point completely invalid.

I think you're just jealous, because deep down inside you want all that love, affection and attention that people give their animals... you want all of that for yourself, and you're envious of people giving it to their companion animals.

I think the way you feel is kinda sad, and pathetic, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for you, because of your hatred and hostility.

    • But seeing as your comment has no basis in reality, it’s nothing more than you mindlessly trying to insult me.

Kinda like you mindlessly hate and insult pet owners, and animal lovers, huh? I think you're just booty hurt cause I hit a nerve.

Regardless, how you feel about my response is irrelevant, because the poll speaks for itself. Like it or not nearly 70% of people agree with me.

You'd kick a helpless hamster across the room? Does that sound normal to you?

I'm not to thrilled with cat-owners. But that's primarily because my mom is deathly allergic to them.

I'm actually somewhat allergic to cats, but I wash my cat. I have been bathing him since he was a baby so he's completely used to it. I'm also allergic to pollen and dust so I take Zyrtec and Flonase anyway. I would love to go get shots to help me build up an immunity to the things that aggravate my allergies.

For the most part I think I'm probably immune to my own Siamese cat, and like I said he is clean. He's also a strictly indoor cat as well. I sometimes like to visit cats at shelters, but they're kinda dirty and covered in dander so I can't do that for very long. I wish more people would just keep their cats indoors and wash them from the get go. I also wish more people would would spay and neuter their pets, because unless they're show animals that are being bred it's unnecessary for them to remain intact.

You want to know what's so great about animals?
    They are honest.
Yes, in some cases they will kill for fun.
But not on a human scale.
Usually not one of their own.
An animal just wants to live it's life.
Not bring others down, not prove how much better they are, no insults.
There's no Trump in the animal world.
    No polution.
    No nukes.etc
    I love my pets.
You are welcome to stay in your little word.
You kick one of mine across the room.
Things would not go well for you.

If you don't want an animal, don't have an animal. On the other hand, getting mad at someone who loves and cares for animals because they have no practical use makes it seem like someone should only care for something or some one if it benefits them.

You should be kicked across a room. You’re just a messed up jealous loner.

If you want to have a loving heart, you have to GIVE love, not receive it. This is why my condition is so pathetic. I never get to be nice to women.

Pet owners are the equivalent of people who have Empty Nest Syndrome, always want offspring in their life. Drop Kick dogs appear and act in a manner of being a child without maturity.

You say Hitler like it's a bad thing.
      As if he had slaves?
      But, seriously.
      You need help.
      Have you seen stray animals.
What they eat, what injuries they endure with no medical care.
You're saying that's better than a responsible pet owner.
Either you haven't been around much.
      Or you lack common sense.
