Is it normal that i hate when people talk on the phone on public transportation

Maybe it is because my mother is constantly on the phone for her job, but I absolutely CAN NOT stand it when people (especially business men/women) talk on the phone out in public. On the bus, in the airport, at restaurants, anywhere that I may be enjoying my daily routine and you break my train of thought by RUDELY talking LOUDLY on your stupid phone talking about things I, along with everyone else in the immediate area, DO NOT CARE ABOUT.

    whenever someone is talking loud on their cell phone, i also talk loud on mine right next to them! its fun!

    If it's very loud then yes, that can be annoying. But if it's in a normal speaking voice how is that different from people having a normal conversation in public?

    If it bothers you so damn much, why not stop using public transportation? That would solve the problem wouldn't it?
