This has GOT to be one of the most "normal" feelings ever posted out here in the IIN community. I've worked part time since I was 12, so that's seven long years now. And I work full time in the summers. And I've never had a job I'd keep if I didn't need the cash. I think most people must feel similarly. Can you imagine life if our basic needs were all taken care of? Who the heck would CHOOSE to go scrub public toilets at an IHOP. On a weekend night/morning. After all the bars and rowdy college kids have nearly broken the toilets.

Working sucks. Get a government job like I have and you won't really need to work at all. You work with people 1/3 your intellect and you get to be bored instead of stressed.

Yup, I work with a lot of black people. Are you black? Oh well, they're dumb as all hell.

Prime, you seem to be confusing dumb with ghetto/ignorant. Just thought you'd like to know. But I'm not in a gov job so I guess I'm lucky.

Totally normal. Working fucking sucks moosefarts and your job really only benefits your boss. You're basically a slave, except instead of living on your master's property and getting fed by them, you are given some piece of paper (your paycheck) which you then give to somebody else for food and a place to live. Same shit, but now with a middleman.

If I won the lottery I would never work again. I have sooooooo many hobbies travel fitness bdsm clubs swingers clubs nudist clubs & beaches The Occult books comiccon nightclubs parties movies acting martial arts swimming archery target practice driving fishing the seaside.
I would never be bored . I would buy my own little private Island and hold very wild parties say 4 times a year. I also hate work but sadly one has to pay the bills.

Work sucks, but it's better than having no work.

    • Screw that, I'm actually considering a life of begging like some of the YouTube people. Nomadic Fanatic for example actually just drives around in a van with a cat and gets paid. He actually got people to give him enough money to buy a nice camper van.

You are confusing work and leisure. We the 1% overlords have high quality work, as well as high quality leisure. We must work smart to solve wealth creation problems that keep us in power. And, we fly our private jets to our second homes in the Caribbean for high quality leisure.

You, the 99% losers, have low quality work and low quality leisure. You have to solve money allocation problems to have enough left from working hard collecting trash and scrubbing toilets so that you can afford to smoke a joint on Saturday night.

Work and leisure is not the issue. QUALITY is the issue.

Maybe you just have not found a job that you like doing. I work outside most of the time and i love being out in the sun. 9 hours just fly by and i also get the benefit of staying in shape. Damn its so good to be me. I am the best.

      • Guess so, if you think that working is the best thing for a 12-17 year old. Of course working at IHOP is always a goal for young adults

It's good to learn how to work and manage your money at a young age. Gotta start somewhere.
