We're constipated when you were on your period. Being constipated while on your period can be a very painful thing indeed. Drink more water. (Water will also make your periods lighter.) Eat more fibre. Eat some plain yogurt.
Some women just have a lower tolerance for menstrual pain than others. If you've had really bad period pain since you started having your period, I'm guessing between 12 and 14, then you're probably acustomed to how painful it is and are prepared with hot water bottles and pain meds at that time of the month like I was. I was always used to crippling pain and so even though I recognized how bad it was, it was still normal for me so I never thought "maybe I should see a gynea" . 19 and I still haven't seen one because I can't find one for free and don't have between 800 and 900 bucks to see a private one. Anyway, I would suggest you get yourself on the pill, it really, REALLY helps with pain and it lightens your flow. If you're like me and choose a continuous cycle (active pills everyday of every month) then you simply don't bleed. Still get occasional spotting but its nothing like a period at all. If you're one of those people who blatently refuses birth control for dumb reasons then I would suggest taking one inza (naxopren I think? Or something like that, its a large pink anti inflammatory tablet) combined with 2 adcodolls. It might make you drowsey but it works really well. Also, you're not alone. I feel like I want my uterus gone too. I can't wait till I have kids one day so I can have a hysterectomy and never have to worry about my stupid uterus or its issues every again.
